Our Community Groups meet in homes around the Northshore on various days throughout the week to build relationships, find serving opportunities in their neighborhood, and learn more about how the gospel of Jesus applies to every area of life.
Our inter-generational small groups of 5-20 people offer an easy entry point into the life of the Restoration Community Church family. Whether they're sharing a meal together, going on play dates with their kids, or just grabbing coffee one afternoon, Community Groups are intended to facilitate relationships where you can feel known and loved.
Each time a Community Group meets, one of the main ways they come together is around studying the Bible. While we also offer seasonal classes geared toward specific theological and practical topics, our Community Groups utilize discussion questions around our weekly sermons to help tease out and apply what is being taught from the Bible each weekend. Don't worry though! You'll be able to participate even if you didn't catch the previous week's message.
Whether it's through the tangible needs to come up within your group or through organizations and opportunities in your surrounding neighborhood, we hope to see every Community Group looking for specific ways they can regularly bend out the love of Jesus in serving others. Our church will also plan ways for our entire congregation to serve together, but we believe one of the main ways we can "be the church" is by being good neighbors to those in our surrounding communities.
